B-type hinge: A highly versatile entry-level hinge

B-type is our entry-level hinge series. Despite being the most basic hinge model in our product range, it is designed and engineered to function flawlessly for at least 80,000 opening and closing cycles. By default, the basic model of the B-type series comes without damping, but it can always be upgraded at a later stage with our Glissando add-on dampers that feature our ConfidentClose technology, which provides the consumer-preferred soft closing of cabinet doors.

One major feature of the B-type hinge is slide-on mounting, which is super-fast and easy – even when assembling a cabinet all by yourself. Simply slide the hinges into plates installed on the cabinet carcass and you are done. With the new B-type-i3 model, which also comes with integrated damping, we have made the mounting process even faster as it allows for hinge-to-plate pre-mounting. Moreover, pre-mounting eliminates the need for adjustments on the production line.

One other important feature that makes the B-type stand out from its competition is its low hinge cup depth. At just 11 millimeters, the B-type hinge is compatible with cabinet doors that are as thin as 15 millimeters. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications: from kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities to highly specific pieces of sailboat and motorhome furniture.

S-type: A multi-purpose hinge with facilitated mounting

S-type facilitates cabinet assembly with snap-on mounting, which is fast and effortless. After attaching and fastening the mounting plate inside the cabinet carcass, simply push the hinge into the plate and press down on the hinge above the mounting plate. This will secure the hinge in place. Side, height and depth adjustments can be made afterwards to align the door with the carcass.

With snap-on mounting, the S-type provides the ultimate flexibility. It allows you to easily assemble and disassemble cabinets as many times as necessary. What is more, the hinge is completely reliable. Regardless of how many times you have assembled and disassembled it, the tight hinge-to-plate joint ensures a high stability and reduces the sagging of the cabinet door.

Just like the B-type hinge, the hinge cup on the S-type is 11 millimeters deep. This means that it can be installed on cabinet doors as thin as 15 millimeters. Boasting high strength and improved stability. S-type is suitable for a variety of different cabinets, cupboards and closets regardless of the door size or weight. Moreover, S-type comes with either integrated ConfidentClose damping or without it. In the latter case, the Glissando add-on damper is always an option.

T-type: A premium hinge for quick furniture assembly

T-type is the result of our dedicated development and design research on consumer needs, meaning that it is engineered for a purpose. As such, it is the pinnacle of our concealed hinge portfolio that always comes with integrated Titus damping. This ensures a silent and soft closing of cabinet doors without any add-ons. Moreover, T-type facilitates the assembly process with an innovative and user-friendly hinge-to-plate mounting.

The so-called 3Way snap-on allows for the fastest and most intuitive mounting experience, even for users who have never assembled a hinge before. As demonstrated in the video below, the hinge can be attached to the plate from the front, the back or the top. It allows you to mount the cabinet door from whichever angle is the most convenient, which comes handy when mounting high doors with three or more hinges.

Another advantage of T-type is its load capacity, meaning that it performs consistently regardless of the size and weight of the door. Moreover, it boasts a high tolerance, which allows for misalignments of drilling patterns. Even when they are misaligned as much as 0.6 millimeters, the hinge still performs at its peak capabilities.
