Consumer Assembly Friendliness, or CAF, is a way to measure how easy it is to assemble a piece of flat-pack furniture. The lower your CAF score, the easier it is for the end consumer to assemble it in their home.

If someone has a bad experience building your furniture, they will tell lots of people about it which can seriously damage your sales.

You can lower your CAF score by reducing the number of parts and steps it takes to build, but by also by using more intelligent and easy to use connectors and factory pre-insertion.

In the video above, Phil Beddoe from Titus UK explains how you can make your furniture easier to build, but also reduce the time it takes to assemble high-volume furniture in your factory.
